NURSERY SCHOOL BOY PLANTS HIS 300TH TREE

Emmanuel Kerr, A Makini School nursery student has planted his 300th tree and he will not stop at this including inspiring his class mate Juma who planted his first tree on the same day.

Our target is to hit 1500 by the end of this year and inspire more children and adults to do it for us to get the recommended 10 percent cover as a country. This journey began in 2018 when he had no idea of what he was doing to this days when he asks for opportunities to plant more trees and I guess it is a hobby to him many thanks to head teacher Ms Pamela for gracing the occasion, our team from Koee who have always inspired us to keep it up, class teacher Sarah and pupils from Pre school and many more God bless you all. The journey has not been smooth including many of his trees being uprooted.
