Lorraine is a Business, Environment and Sustainability Specialist, youth mentor, and aspiring author. She started her career in 2008 as a Programmes Officer working in community development NGOs, before moving into the corporate sector in the UK. Currently Lorraine is working on improving business environmental and social practices in Kenya through training, and other bespoke services on sustainability. She is the National Coordinator of the Green Key Kenya programme, an international eco-certification scheme for tourism establishments. Lorraine is passionate about the power of businesses, particularly those run by young people, to drive sustainable development and positive societal change. She also supports KOEE’s ESD, Eco-schools and LEAF programmes. Lorraine has a Masters in Sustainability (Business, Environment and Corporate Responsibility), and a Bachelors’ Degree in Environmental Management and Community Development.
